Are you interested in foreign cultures and art? Do you want to improve your sense of aesthetics? Feel like learning or improving Chinese handwriting? If so, our Chinese Calligraphy workshop may be the thing for you. Starting from scratch, we explore the logic and beauty of Chinese characters and handwriting. No previous knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is required.
Weekly Workshop
In a workshop series of 8 sessions of 2 hours each, you learn to write and appreciate the forms and flow of Chinese characters. The workshop is organised on the VUB Etterbeek campus on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in August. The registration fee is set at 100 EUR and includes calligraphy materials.

General Conditions
- A minimum of 5 students is required to start the class. If less then five students enroll for a class, the VUB retains the right to cancel the course for the semesters at any time or postpone until more students enroll.
- Writing materials such as paper and ink are provided by the teacher and are included in the registration fee.
