Charlotte Barker, editor of The Analytical Scientist, said, “Innovation and progress in the field is dependent on new ideas and new ways of thinking. The early-career researchers featured in the Top 40 Under 40 bring not only fresh scientific perspectives, but a commitment to communication, outreach, and multidisciplinary work. Their passion for analytical science is inspiring.”

This is the second Top 40 Under 40 Power List from The Analytical Scientist. Sebastiaan Eeltink, who featured on the 2014 list, explained how inclusion on the list has had a positive impact on his work, “Years later, people still refer to the Top 40 Under 40 list…  people from industry saw my name on this list, which helped to initiate new collaborative projects (and ultimately acquire new funding).”

The Analytical Scientist is published monthly and distributed worldwide through 21,000 printed copies to a targeted European mailing list of industry professionals and 75,000 electronic copies.
