NVAO's good report for Vesalius College is based on the conclusions of an extensive report drawn up by an independent panel of professors from the universities of Cambridge, Leuven, Antwerp and Amsterdam. More specifically, the panel praised the quality and commitment of the teaching staff, the rigorous quality control and the increased emphasis on research. The transparent feedback and assessment according to the TPEL system (Theory-Guided, Practice-Embedded and Experiential Learning) also received good points.
Concluding the assessment, the NVAO committee said to be impressed by the many changes for the benefit of the Vesalius College. As its report states: "We have found a much stronger and coherent academic culture than in 2014, during our previous visitation."
