Admission requirements

As a general rule, every study programme comes with its own set of conditions. You will find all the requirements for your chosen programme by clicking 'admission requirements' under the 'programme' tab.

Which degree is required?

Do you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a Flemish university in one of the following disciplines? In that case, you are welcome to join the programme:

  • Bioengineering sciences

  • Biology
  • Biomedical sciences.

For other Flemish diplomas in a related discipline (e.g. chemistry; veterinary medicine; pharmaceutical sciences; medicine), the admission decision is based on our evaluation of your complete application file.

Do you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a non-Flemish university in one of the above disciplines? The admission decision is based on our evaluation of your complete application file.

Will I need to sit an entrance exam?

You will not need to sit an entrance exam to begin the programme. Your admission depends on your complete application file (proof of meeting the academic and language requirements, satisfactory background, ...). You can find all you need to know about admission requirements, deadlines and application forms on the application page.
